This opportunity is designed to remove financial barriers and fast track talented Physicists into classrooms where they are needed most.

• 175 scholarships available for September 2026 intakes.

• Total support to develop your physics teaching skills including online and face-to-face continuing professional development (CPD) workshops

• £31,000 tax free funding for your teacher training year.

• Wholesome support to teach in low socioeconomic areas.

Who Qualifies for this Scholarship?

• Applicants with a UK or equivalent Physics degree. First Class or or 2:1 preferred.

• an excellent academic record featuring a UK physics master’s OR a PhD (proven or predicted) are eligible.

• Overseas degree holders must provide a UK ENIC Statement of Comparability.

• In exceptional circumstances, applicants with a 2:2 and significant relevant experience will be considered.

• Degree qualifications must be completed by September 2026.
